Author Interview with Legendary Writing Part 3

Legendary Writing blog post Part 3

The third part of my author interview with LegendaryWriting on Instagram, in which I answer the question : “In the summary of Visiting Lilly it mentions time travel as a possibility. What kind of world does this take place in?”

. – Q: In the summary of Visiting Lilly it mentions time travel as a possibility. What kind of world does this take place in? . – A: Visiting Lilly take place in England in the present time, our time. Personally, I don’t classify it as science fiction; I see it more as exploring the possibilities of future-technology. If twenty years ago I’d written a story about a guy having a mobile phone that does everything our modern phones do and more, readers may well have described it as science fiction. However, the way I see it is that twenty years ago someone, somewhere, was already working on these phones. The public wasn’t necessarily aware of the new technology that was being secretly developed behind closed doors. This is the principle I’m exploring in Visiting Lilly, and throughout my Jake Talbot Investigates series. We don’t know if someone is already working on a way to travel in time. This is why I’ve included the Ministry of Defence, because in real life they wouldn’t want a geek sitting at home creating any kind of technology that might have far reaching consequences and impact national security. #writer #poetsofinstagram #writing #author #reader #amwriting #book #books #bookstagram #bookworm #reading #realtalk #relatable #truth #goals #poems #inspiration #success #quotestoliveby #quoteoftheday #quotes #wisdom #instagood #instalike #instadaily #motivation #writerscommunity #writersofig #writersofinstagram #writerslife
